tunefink Knife Enthusiast Registered: 09/13/05 Posts: 4052 Loc: Bambalam	I am not sure what is happening in Atlanta the week of Blade Show but rooms are already scarce. The Waverly is sold out..... I am a top tier Marriott member and could not get anything. I was offered waiting list at $454 per night. I found a room nearby, but. LarryWW1246 Knife Enthusiast Registered: 03/20/06 Posts: 1730	Tune-- In the past three or four years I have been told by more than two people who habitually made hotel reservations very early that those hotels then later cancelled their reservations in the time just before the Blade Show. These people have been so disappointed that they told me they will never bother going back to Blade. They received no explanation from the hotels, but we could speculate that the room rates were increased above what they had been quoted, and the hotels simply resold the rooms. I am booked at another Marriott property, so I am pretty comfortable with them. It's a tourist attraction in it's own right for those that have never been inside. Wonder if there's any place to park an RV down there? _________________________ Dwight
