Thought it might be fun to start a general EDC thread.

What are you packing?

Alongside the obvious BMK pocket Alaskan, I picked up this LC9 (I've got a thing for Rugers) about a month ago and with over 500 rounds through it since I haven't had a single problem. The trigger pull is about a mile long, but with continued practice and getting comfortable I've become fond of the way I have to command the trigger when it's time to pull, not to mention it's practically a safety of it's own. I also put some skateboard grip tape on the underside of the trigger guard on my contact points. The control is awesome. In fact, so awesome that I can say that shooting potatos from the passenger side of a crusing golf cart is the most fun I've had since the first time I got my hands on whiskey.

My 11 year old pup Chloe is also never far from my hip. Life is good.

This is the greatest quote that I have read all day. Thank you for making me smile.

As for me, SIG P228 or P220 Carry for EDC. I am partial to Spyderco Native folders for a pocket knife.

I have a Glock 43, 9mm single stack, in a Sullivan's slip on holster. I carry a Chris Reeve large Sebenza and a Victorianox small companion.

Sig P225 (also 9mm single stack) in a CrossBreed "tuck" style holster, Benchmade Ares 730SBK.

If I'm wearing a "camp shirt" (untucked), also packing the RKCC club knife.

So why would I tell? I'll just keep you and the rest of the world that reads these a secret.
Just like concealed carry, I'm not "printing ".

Touche' Warren!

Mitchell that's an awesome set up, too. I have the GP100 from Ruger and love that caliber.

This is my first 9mm and I'm enjoying it much more than I thought I would.
