I need to know if a Model#1-7 is consider a large blade. I need to have 2 lines of etching. The catalog states that you are allowed 18 spaces per line and 2 lines on large blades. Can you get special characters like a forward slash and roman numerals? I am trying to spell a specific unit and rotation and would this count as one of my chargable options? I know you guy's are the one's to ask. My last question is if you can send knives back to RMK for etching and what would be the cost and details? Thanks, Jimmy

This question would be better asked in the Randall Ordering Questions on the main RKS forum. This one just doesn't help that many RKS members who might have the same questions.
Anyway: You can order 2 lines of etching on a Model #1...No problem. Hope this helps.
Best, Capt. Chris

Tom,
It's fine over here. I was mentioning it to Jimmy because good questions, like this one, would/could be seen by more viewers over on our pinned topic on the main RKS forum. No harm...for sure. Thanks anyway.
Best, Capt. Chris

Will the shop accept a Randall from a customer that has already been delivered and etch a name on the blade?

Yes they will. They will send you a quote and expected finish date. Hope this helps.
Best, Capt. Chris
PS: Could you ask this question again on the RKS "Ordering" thread? I know you're not "ordering" but a lot of folks profit from questions like this on the main forum that do not frequent this one...CCS
