I think we need some. It's 85 friggin' degrees here today. Bright...Sunny...etc, etc....
No: This isn't the "How's your weather" thread. It's a call-out for some "fresh air" on the Randall knives forum! How about it? We "almost" got their with a "A Spring Build" but it's wings have seemed to have been clipped.
I think I can help...How about this. A "CONTENT CONTEST"?!? It's easy but it involves photos being shared...or not...but better with 'em. Here's what I propose to do. The CONTENT CONTEST will have some very liberal rules but a couple, none-the-less.
Everyone who posts new and fresh Randall knife content will be eligible to have a lucky number chosen and added to the list. The list will be 50 numbers...and another "50 reserve" numbers. All you have to do is post a photo and a couple of paragraphs about your latest, oldest, dearest, most-interesting, most-used, least-used...whatever RMK!
The 50 "reserve spots" are for the photo entries. They will get a second number choice. It's just that simple!
OK: So how much is all this going to cost you, you ask justifiably?
NADA Baby! Not a thin dime. It's just a contest to generate some fun...POSITIVE", fresh air interest in Randall Made Knives.
OK: So what do we win? Another good question. I'll order, using RMK shop-supplied handle material, any Model #10 of the winner's chosing! Nothing says more, in Randall language, about spring than a fishin' knife. Hell: Spring at Bass Pro or Cabelas, etc...is all about fishin'!!
What'da'ya' say? Who's with me on this? ROLL CALL
Stay Sharp, Capt. Chris

Well...I'm sure this is going to morf....BUT....what excites me right now is the new(not really) new Resin-Ivory by Dave Warther...I've been watching David's web site for a while, and now...as an ivory lover...I think this is a great happening!! AND I see that knives are now coming out of the shop!! They are beautiful!!!
Not sure this is the way you wanted to go...BUT this is what currently excites me...I love Ivory...to be clear in this WOKE society...I do not want to kill animals!!! I love animals!!
So...I'm good...right???
The photo's are some that I sold, and some that I still have

I have 9 RMK’s on order with Dave Warthers Resin Ivory. I really like the smooth polish feel of this material. Rick Bowles offered me this DW resin ivory skinner and I had to have it. Gary Clinton was gracious enough to offer me this .999 Silver Ivory TCS. These 2 are my latest favorites. Last photo is both handle materials side by side.

Thanks Cap,

Of all the Randall's I own, none can compare to the Randall 50th Anniversary knife. It was the second one I purchased; I traded my first for this one. It is serial #188 Randall 50th Anniversary knife embellished by Tom Leschorn. It has a cross-hatched top for thumb placement, engraved guard (initialed and dated), with an engraved brass plate in the butt end of the crown stag. The blade is 7-1/4" long, overall length a hair under 13".

Hope I am around for the 100th Anniversary Knife!

Tom Flynn

Wandering off into another direction, how about Mini 14's with exotic sheaths?

One of the "Book" Knives I had in the collection for about 10 years.
Randall 15, Green Tenite, JRB Split Back C Sheath with Large Rivets, 2 Tone Grey Stone, 1962, appeared on Pages 136-137 of Robert Hunt's Randall Fighting Knives in Wartime.
