Gentlemen, There is a model 19 for sale on ebay with a 4 inch blade.
I was under the impression that available blade lengths are 4.5 and 5 inches?
Any information about blade lengths, variations over the course of the knives production history would be appreciated.
Respectfully, Gordon

I'm sorry Gordon but posting links to other sites is prohibited.
Thanks, Capt. Chris

I have a call in for RickT to call me back in reference to the forum policy about these links. I have others who have legitimate questions about it. The reason for the rule is because of all the cross-forum bickering and bad-mouthing (often by banned members).
With regards to your question: Model #19's come 4 1/2" and 5". Sheaths are, most-often stamped: 19-4 and 19-5, eliminating the "halves" if you will. Hope this helps.
Stay Sharp, Capt. Chris

Capt. Thanks for the reply,Stamping the sheaths 4 or 5 would certainly simplify things and makes perfect sense.
This would indicate the knife in question has a 4.5 inch blade.
Once again the shared knowledge on this forum is incredible.
Thanks Gordon

Put the link back up so we don't have to go search for what he is referencing. It is on ebay correct? No bickering there.

Capt is at a gun/knife show in Hoover, AL. Might not answer for a bit.

Thanks Rod. I'm certainly guilty of linking eBay auctions, so I was just circling back for an update.

Agreed Tom. Ebay links to suspicious auctions has been a staple here for years. I know I have done it.
