Captain,
I know this cuts into the knife quota but could we swing it? Are any members interested? As for myself, I learn a good bit as these progress and I feel others may too.
Anyway, it may help lighten the mood and spark some extra discussion. I'm not looking at any model specifically right now, just as an FYI.
Just my thoughts on an early morning shift.

Knife quota????

I thought that it was best to get as much as you can when you can!!

Probably why I am in so much trouble all the time.

Sounds interesting,count me in.

I would be in!

How about a model 12-9 sportsman with a nickel silver fighter guard and nickel silver butt.

I'm in but I'm done with the lottery system for knife builds.

When you never win the lottery, you eventually quit playing.

Not any of the "buy a lottery ticket" variety. I paid full value for every club build I won.

I, for one, am not complaining.

Not only enjoy seeing how different people thinks about what a build might be, but I have been very lucky on a couple of them.

I don't know if some people prefer to pay for numbers and risk not not having theirs drawn and being out the money if one of their numbers is not drawn.

Or if it would be more appealing to let the winner pay full-up for the knife.

Just saying, that it is nice to keep this forum going on projects like this. Doesn't mean that we all have to participate in every build, but it is interesting to work through the builds.

Another idea .......would Greg be up for one more custom sheath? I would furnish my last super tanned beaver tail. The winner would get the Randall model sheath of their choice, and the price?? Part of the discussion, but would definitely be to Greg's advantage. Thoughts?

I guess I should rephrase...

I like the idea and recommend we go back to the old method of club builds.
