I recently acquired a used early 90's Model 3-5" with nicely patinated Ivory Micarta handle. The blade was cared for, but quite pitted so I elected to send the knife back to the Randall Shop for some refinishing on the blade. In less than four weeks the knife was back to me with an expertly done job of removing the pits on the blade. The Shop also left the patination on the Ivory Micarta untouched! I thought the attached photos might be of interest, especially to those who have asked about the "spa" treatment from the Randall Shop. I trust it will be evident which photos are "before" and which are "after".

Nicely done but no surprise there. I have a couple of knives at the shop now for some work - quick turnarounds on estimates and very reasonable rates for those thinking about it.
Good looking knife.
