Just a thought about this issue, since most of us are over 40. I bought my first Randall when I was 23, and the price was $25, which was nearly a weeks work at the gas station I was working. That was a Model 1-6 with a stag handle, that's it. So my point is, maybe we should have a special entry level, standard Randall model for an entry level person for a slightly discounted price. Back when I first ordered my Randall, there were very few other custom made knife makers around. Now, there are hundreds. Any other thoughts out there?

The Triathlete, Tailor, and Model 10 knives are considerably more affordable than the rest.

I think it’s a good idea provided that Randall doesn’t compromise quality in any way. I also think that attracting younger people to the Randall Collectibg game would be a readily available knife. Newer generations don’t like to wait. They are used to immediate gratification.
