You never know what yer' gonna' get! I sold this #11-4" off of my website a few days ago (Well: Maybe a couple of weeks ago?) and my good customer from New York State wanted me to pickle it. It's done and ready-to-ship. I just thought I'd share it with you folks. It is always a mystery as to exactly what's gonna' come out of the juice! I have never had 2 the same! Stay sharp, Capt. Chris PS: This one stayed in for 3 hours...CCS

I think the trick is to wash off the Renwax and use a rust eraser, then use Famous Dave's pickle juice. After you eat the pickles, of course.

Ketchup doesn't have enough vinegar in it to work as well as pickle juice.

If you want a stippled effect you can use wet pine needles, makes for an interesting result, they do need to be fairly wet and left for 24 hours, turn over and repeat with fresh needles.
