The Orlando show was quite good! Unusual, but good none the same. I picked up a cool old #5-6" (Careful Rod...Don't over-excite yourself), signed up new RKCC members and did good business! Also picked up a way-cool desert ironwood Model #11-3" with too many spacers! (brass and black and 7 total). I had sold this originally to one of my guides and got it back on Sunday! My buddy, Jed Peckham was there. He told me that he had made the knife, as he recognized his thumb notches on the blade! I'll post photos of both knives a bit later.
My friend, Randall knife nut and fellow RKCC member, David Peritz stopped by the table and snapped this pic of a motley crew! Left-to-right: Mike Mason, The 'Ol Captain, Tommy Clark, Mitchell Harrison and Tom King ("TK"). This was Saturday, prior to Perry's memorial service.
Hope to see some more of you folks at the next Orlando show. Forum member, aka "Lucky" (Richard) stopped by and picked up the #14 on steroids, which he won in the Robert Welch raffle. I am making him (as promised) a Model #14 in nickel silver to match.
Thanks to everyone who helped to, not only make this a good show, but also get us all through the weekend. Thank God for good friends.
Best, Capt. Chris
