Hi everybody

From September 22 to October 05 I will stay in New York. Any hints for knife shops, shows or knife related stuff will be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help.

best regards, Patrick

Patrick,

I wish we had more outlets for knife shops around this area. Most of the knife dealers also sell guns but they are primarily new production knives.
We have 3 trade shows for knives in the area but unfortunately not during your stay.
I'm not familiar with Pennsylvania, but there may be some shops or shows a few hours away. Maybe some of the other guys who live locally have some other ideas.

Enjoy your stay here and good luck.

Best,
Warren

Hey Patrick!
Most of the knife/cutlery stores in Manhattan revolve around kitchen cutlery.
There is Paragon Sports ... a big retailer selling all sports equipment, including outdoor sports and
water sports stuff. They usually have a good selection of knives and sometimes a small selection of
Hand Made knives. Several years ago (maybe more) you would even occasionally find a Randall or two
in their case!
Paragon Sports
867 Broadway (on or near 18th Street)

If I come up with anything else, I'll let you know!
Tony

Hey Guys
Thanks a lot for the hints! Staying in NYC for more than a week already and still running around for sightseeing and stuff. I was glad for a weekend off on Long Island in a nice summerhouse. There I could wear my knife at least...

There are a few days left now for the museums and some shopping.

best, Patrick
