Awrite, lemmie see, Capt. Chris, you’ve omitted the model #11’s (3/16” bunch) by NOT listing them with those other outstanding possible choices so far. You didn’t shut down the “maybe 2 like you” feelers though so I’m thinking that your SSP, just li

Maybe the Model 5 small fish & game set up like Bradford Agier's in the larger model with the Micarta handle w/compass?? In all honesty,it is what you choose will be the best. That is why there are so many Models/variations.

I wouldn't mind seeing a model 3 get built, 5 or 6 inch. A pair, like the Capt's, would be cool but it's been done recently. Any reason not to build a model 25? A 25/26 pair could turn out nice

We-e-l-l... Since Capt. Chris uses two, maybe, could we, think of a "a pair?" And think about what each might be better suited for? And "maybe" the option for the first person drawn to buy one or both? Just thinking, maybe out

180-190 is a large buck where I hunt. 160-165, during the rut when they've got a lot of "running, fighting, screwing" going on... Best, Capt. Chris

Capt, Just how large are the deer in your neck of the woods where you go?? Up north, typical size is about 180 lbs although there are many that go over 200 lbs. A few years ago,a bowhunter harvested a 305 lbs white tailed buck from a state forest ju

I'm stuck on a Model 5-5" 01 steel, since it has done everything from butchering numerous elk, mule and whitetail, Trout, salmon, steelhead, grouse, and multiple camp chores, since 1975. I have used other Randall models, but my old Model 5-5&q

Valid points, Top Dog. Survival or just processing of your game is the choices I guess. I do favor the old style 8-4 (dressed out if so desired!). Walker
