Got my 2nd shot today. Hope it does the trick.
I’ve known 8 friends to die from the virus and several others to spend long stretches in ICU.
A couple of ‘em died thinking it wasn’t real. One was a dentist that I went to high school with. He spent 6 weeks on a ventilator and died alone.

Get my second shot on Monday!! Until November, I did not know any one with it....now, it's gone through my son's family, my daughter in-law's family....and a couple others as well.....only one required hospitalization.....she is no/off a ventilator....all others did just fine....not even a doctor visit... :-)Rocky

Sort of accidentally got in line and got the first on January 7, and they contacted me to get the second on this past Tuesday. Moderna vaccine.
The first one caused a sore arm mostly, but the second has had more effect. Sore arm, temperature, muscle pain, face flushed even today even though don't feel like I have a temp.
Most noticeable is getting tired, especially when active. Guess that will go away.

I have friends that didn't have any after effects on the first shot, but did on the second shot, basically the same as you had.

I am feeling OK today. Maybe some extra joint pain, but that might be just the COLD weather.
My Bride however, is suffering! Chills, aches, exhaustion, etc.
My 89 year old mother had the same thing for about a day and a half.

Exhaustion and sore arm here. Could have been worse so I'm thankful for sure. Walker

Woke up about 3:00 with bad chills. Temp 100.
Took a couple of Tylenols and fever went away by 4:00.
Slept til 11:00
Every bone in my body hurt for a couple hours. Doc said that would happen. Bone marrow making antibodies.
Feeling a lot better now. My Bride is completely over her shot.

Coach--
If we all react pretty much the same way to the second shot, you have some days ahead where you are tired, wear down during the day, take unscheduled naps, and the muscle you got it in will at some point get to be the focal point becoming overall hot and inflamed, sensitive to touch, and itchy. At least that's me so far since getting it Tuesday.
No fun, but better than a ventilator and the aftermath.
Larry
