My reaction to both shots was about the same, similar to the flu shots.
The doctor here said that the muscle ache was a good sign as it indicated the vaccine was working.
I took small doses of Ibuprofen about every 6 hours and it helped a little.

Coach and others--

The arm got so sensitive and distracting that I tried roll-on arnica montanica lotion. It might not be the most obvious product on the shelves at WalMart, Walgreens, CVS, but it is worth trying.

It helped a lot to calm it down, not entirely gone but much better.

Arnica montanica works on many things (like the lower left back I injured years ago), has no odor no cold no heat.

Hang in there.

My second shot went fine....no issues at all...shoulder has a panful spot, however if you've ever had to go through an allergy shot regiment.....it's nothing

Yes sir. All is good now. Coworker really got plowed, 105.7 temp (106 is his limit), severe chills (shook bed), body ached due to muscle cramping. I was a little uncomfortable going in but no real issues compared to him.
Glad to have it done.

I don't know, Eric. I am about too old to spend all day telling kids to pull their masks up over their nose!

We will see.
