Except for the sawteeth, I have one. It's a super knife.

It's a pity that can't put teeth on the Confederate bowie.. or do 10-5 (7) with teeth like Crider, but #14 CDT will work well with them.

In my opinion Glock is a good thing

Some outstanding ideas and it's also great to see pics from you crew members! A lot to think about. I was searching my photos (which can take a bit of time) and came up with another suggestion...although "not" in musk ox. Whatdoya' think?
Stay sharp, Capt. Chris

Thanks Cap!
I like the BP handle and #1 Hilt!

#5 with teeth not a bad idea either ... just not as BAD as a #14!
grin

I think something with a full tang would be good for the situation you have described. I have a stainless Model 15 with sawteeth on order from the Capt. as we speak that I plan to use for kayaking (Among other things). I like the shorter blade for carrying when seated.

I do like Tony's idea of the Model 14 with sawteeth. That was my first Randall that I bought many years ago (Back in the early 80's). It now belongs to my son:

I also had a Model 16 with sawteeth for many years. That one now belongs to my son-in-law:

Captain would it be possible to do a 5 such as that musk ox in a tear drop handle (for unique comfort) with your bone linen (or other unique durable micarta hidden away deep in your STASH!) a wrist thong and and a compass?? Such as this handle on this model 5

That's a real beauty cousin. 15s are underrated but the 5 1/2 blade length makes them very handy and concealable. A very "robust" knife too.
