OK Crew,
(Thanks Warren)...It's time to wrap this Big Bowie up! Brass hardware, it is! A brass double hilt is standard on a Thorp, either lugged or forward curved. We can include brass spacers (black with it will work best with this piece of walnut, I think) and a brass butt cap is also doable. Let's decide just how and what we're doing with all that brass!

Either rounded or flanged cap is ok with me. It just needs alot of back end weight to offset that long blade.

I can't understand why a scalloped brass collar has not been mentioned...seems that would be a terrific choice, with either a scalloped, or flanged brass butt cap.
