Wayne, Picking it tomorrow....The handle style is very similar to the Ruger "Birds Head", which I find very comfortable under recoil..for some reason, they appear to have forgot about that handle shape a long time ago....I have a .45 LC that feels like a .22 under recoil...of course, I load "soft"... :-)Rocky
