My #5-6" "Bradford Angier adaptation" By the way, the blade is carbon and this has been one of my most used Randalls since I bought it in the early 80s... camping, backpacking AND canoe trips...it has one or two small spots but is in great shape overall. I mention this in light of the new restrictions on options...I really don't feel an over whelming need for stainless blades, personally. Tony
This is a pretty cool Model #5. It has a 4" blade with a separate "S", nickel silver hilt, 7 spacers, black micarta, and an unlined thong hole. The model #5 with a 4" blade didn't make it's catalog debut until 1988, this one is probably 20 years older than that. Sorry for the lousy picture.
Here's some pictures of my 2 Model 5's. Ones a 1968-1972 Bradford Angier model and the other is a late 1970's early 1980's. Thanks, Dan Snyder RKS #5537
Since I'm really stupid about posting these pictures, I've tried to follow the instructions but just can't seem to get them right. Here's another picture of my model 5'd.
Here's the last picture, promise. Just wanted to add that the model 5 is now one of my favorite models, next to my Sportsman Bowies. Also wanted to add, sorry for the lousy picture quality. I just can't seem to get the macros to work on my digital camera. Dan Snyder RKS #5537
