Only reason not signed if artist was not happy with the work and didn't want to be identified. But that has to be the "out in left field" possibility.

The barn has "Sharp Stuff" on a sign above the door and there is a number in a rectangle in the grass just off the pathway to the barn. Didn't Rick call his business "Sharp Stuff?"

It's Bowles' work. Look a the deer in his gallery on his website. If it was not registered with the shop it would be unsigned. I had this one he did for for Jack Crider... no number, no initials. It's one of the un-etched Shaw Leibowitz Specials.
