I finally finished framing my start to finish board. When I acquired it, it was not mounted......just the pieces and the finished blades were badly carbon spotted.

The knife is a late 60's Model #1 with a 7" tool steel blade.

The yellow letter crystolyn two stone and tight stitch JRB sheath are correct.

All the handle components from nut to brass hilt (as built) are in the middle.

Along the right are two vintage Randall patches and a 1969 catalog.

I'm really happy with the way it turned out. I'll get better pictures tonight.... there is a little glare.

That is very neat! I wonder how long they have been using the ARNE Uddeholm 01?

That turned out great
Did you clean the blades or send them back to the shop? Also, what did you use to protect them from future spotting?
I have only seen a few of the boards and really like them a lot

Yes but at first they started out with the Dannemora 01 I was wondering when that ran out and when they switched suppliers.

PS. I wish I had a few of the older catalogs!

Looks like I may have to change my avatar to your start-to-finish board, Mitchell!
