There've been a couple of auctions in the past couple of days that have made me laugh out loud, much to the consternation of my co-workers. These jumped out at me and I know relatively nothing about RMK.

As soon as I saw the one from showtime I thought boy this really doesn't look good. When I see his name I just go on by.I don't know a lot about RMK but I do know a littel.

I saw this one too. First thing that came to me was: WTF? Not sharpened or used! How'd it get so dark looking? The handle looks just plane weird, even to my untrained eyes. I saw the one offered by ShowTime too, he's very creative in his listings, aint he? Dan Snyder RKS #5537.

Mebbe 4 years ago an early 50's carver came up with a double hilt (No sheath). It went for pretty big money. It was cool looking with such a long blade, but in practice I think it would have bent double if used as intended (?). I wish I had saved a photo.
Best,
Ron

Sidney, "Show-time" says this was guaranteed to be a fighter by someone way up in the RKS.
