OK: NOT! Point is, I have statewide travel until early Saturday morning..."&"...I have to drop this "puter" off to my Geek so's as to download everything to my new one...as well as service and clean out this old warhorse. Point being: The 'Ol Captain will be on "internet and correspondence holiday" until sometime Saturday. Looking forward to getting back to it soon... Stay Sharp, Capt. Chris

I probably "use" it more?! Most times they are in the Geek's Shop for updates, checking for viruses, general clean-up. I receive (between both phones, my Ipad, my laptop, and both mainframe CPUs over 100 spam-n-scam notices, texts, emails, voicemails and phone calls! ...Just Sayin', Stay Sharp, Capt. Chris

Captain I was reading your post and I thought this sounds just like when I had AOL email years ago-junk-virus-spam-BS+. You need to get out of AOL now! Gmail-Yahoo just about any email server is better than AOL. I had to pay for "AOL" - for them to then collect my info at every place I entered it and bombard me with every spam, virus, scam on earth forcing me to then buy all kinds of anti-viru$ software to combat it(what I was paying for from AOL-allegedly). It's a pain at first to change your email but you'll never look back. Hopefully another member will back me up on this. But bro AOL gotta go! It did take you a year and a half to recognize and renew my membership thru AOL...

I "CAN'T" get rid of it. 2 businesses with those email addresses out there for decades! I don't like AOL in the least. When internet was in it's infancy, AOL was "it" as far as connections, exposure, etc...Not-so-much now..."but"...I'm financially hand-cuffed to it. Thanks, Capt. Chris
I changed from Bellsouth.net to mail.com....took about 5 years...you gotta start sometime
:-)Rocky
Rocky Or buy your own domain and never have to worry about changing your email address again. Plus you can have more than one email address attached to your domain.

That is how you do it.
I've had warthog.com since "the beginning" (1996), nobody else has ever owned it.
