Guido, Thanks for your Easter wishes and kind words. Since no one was injured, we look at it as an opportunity and realization as to what it is we are here to do!~ One of my lucky things is the opportunity to make all my Randall Friends!

Well, my wife finally got me to go to Austin, Texas and I told her if I went, that I had to go to the Texas Surplus Store that sells ALL of the confiscated knives in the state of Texas airports and sells them to the public. I went through a whole bunch of bins(took me 2 hours steady) and came out with the following:

1) Benchmade-Osborne Design, 154CM "assisted" folder. Not a switchblade, but if you start to open it, it flips on it's own. Really nice shape, not sure of value, but has to be more than what I paid.

2) Two almost new Leatherman's, one "regular" and one Juicer

3) Two Buck "303", with 2 different marks afterwards. Not a Buck person, but these were minty, so I bought them.

4) Two Buck "309T" smaller folders in mint condition

5) One Buck "305-I" small pocket knife, mint

6) One Case "USA" 3 dot # 6333 SS, appears unsharpened

7) 4 Swiss-Tech "Utili-Key", Patents Pending, which were the first one's made and the very best steel. A great addition to your key ring. I have gone many miles on airplanes with this Utili-key not being detected by airport security, but appears this design may pass the new test and it would be a great one to have.

All the above totaled $192 with tax. If you ever get to Austin, Texas, make sure you stop at the Texas Surplus Store, it will blow your mind.

Pap

PS- If any Buck collectors are interested in anything, let me know.

Not sure about that for other states, but Texas keeps all of the "illegal" sharp objects including about 4 huge boxes of kitchen knives that I never got to look at.

Just my guess.
