Cap emailed our build knife that I won is in. I asked him to take a few pictures for the forum here as I can't do much tech stuff. Anyway I can't wait to get this in my grubby little paws.

Thanks to your superb input...and with Steven's permission, I'd like to present to ya'll one of the coolest builds we have ever done! I was concerned about the "butt weight" of this knife, utilizing a solid brass crow's beak butt cap. Worry no more, I will! (Sounds like Master Yota).
Check it out and post up what you think. Steven...It'll be "in the wind" to ya' today. I apologize for the delay in getting ths pics up..."BUT"...(I know, I know)...I have been slammed!
Thanks again to all who participated, Capt. Chris

Great looking knife Steven!!!

Capt.,

Do you think a Square Top Hilt would be a good thing on that knife or totally unnecessary?

I like the idea of the Square Top Hilt for indexing the knife in your hand, particularly when cutting the windpipe when gutting a deer. That's why it is on my #23.

I wouldn't change the hilt configuration of this knife for "any" reason. It's perfect! A squared top, I think, would make the entire package too bulky.
On another note: I'm looking at these photos and it hit me! Have you ever seen red, white and blue spacers look more "at home" in any other combo? Just like the "old yeller", red, white & blue look "killer"!
I think this is the very first knife I have seen, with my bone linen and rwb spacers. I might have made one or two and shipped them out without looking at them, but this one....N-I-C-E!!
Is it just me?
