I would suggest a (regular) brass hilt, red and brass spacers, a wrist thong and a green micarta border patrol handle.
Thanks for the built smile

My vote for a fishing knife for Florida and NO the shop won't make it and I usnderstand why.
Model 3-7" out of 3/16" stock
Model six grind
Thumb notches
Reduced nickel silver guard
Any spacer configuration
Finger grooved Micarta handle
Wrist thong
Waxed Sullivan's sheath or a kydex

Wishful thinking but it would work very well for our area.

Pappy,

"Don't you and Cap have some stroke??"

I don't even want to know what that means but the answer is "hell no", whatever it means.

OK Crew: Let's decide some stuff. Model #7's come standard with a leather handle, brass single hilt, red, white & blue spacers and a duralumin butt cap.

Do you folks want this?....OR.....Something else?

A) Hilt
B) Handle

Good start. Let me hear your thoughts.
Thanks, Capt. Chris

For a fishing knife I would go with micarta or G10 it will be wet a lot so I wouldn't stick with the leather.
Maroon for me

Exactly! Maroon would look good with brass, too.
How about brass and red spacers?
Thumb notches and a thong hole would complete the package for me smile

Hey Cap ... I think my question got lost in the soup. grin

Can finger grooves be had on a #7-4.5", or is it too small??
Thanks,
Tony

A) Brass Square Top Hilt
B) Leather

Randall has been selling these knives with leather handles for a long time as a "Fisherman-Hunter". If they don't hold up to getting wet, wouldn't Randall use a different material?

No finger grips on the small (3/16") stock knives. Sorry guys!
Best, Capt. Chris
