It's pretty much a slam-dunk for a waxed sheath with no hone pocket. Let's move on and get 'er done! I'm gonna' be on the road for a few days, but you can email your number guesses (3 per member) to my email address. I'll assign the numbers in the order they are received while I'm away.
Thanks for your participation. Let's hear from ya'.
Best, Capt. Chris

How does that e-mail guess work? Missed that part of the process over the many builds. Maybe why I have never made it to the "next step" in the process.

Send Capt. Chris an email at the email address in his signature line and put 3 numbers in the body with your top three choices in the order you prefer them to be used. Then he sends back an email with the first number you sent that no one else chose.

Man I'm still confused on how this works so you just pick 3 numbers like 43,62,36 and send it to Capt. Chris so then he sends back one of the numbers that no one else has picked? then what do you do with that number?
Thanks, Matt

This is the first time I've been envolved with a build

That's all ther is to it.
Just email Capt three numbers...I think up to 99, or something like that, then he assigns you one of your choise that has not already been taken. I would assume the reason for three is so that you get one, if your first number is taken.

Once he has all of the numbers, he uses one of his methods of pulling one out of a hat or some other random method and then the winner has the ability to purchase the build knife and receive it in short order.
It make for some really nice knives and I was lucky to be picked for one once a really nice model 26 Pathfinder

Peter and others left out the most important part---You also have to figure out how the Good Capt.'s mind works to ever have your lucky # drawn......good luck with that! And good luck in the build drawing!
