The boys and I got out Saturday, on a cold sunny day. It was very cold overnight so ticks were not out. We had some strange weather earlier in the week, so in some spots the trees had ice on them, which made them sparkle in the sun.
One nice think is that I found a connector trail that I had been looking for which made the hike more enjoyable.
The best part was I found this nice Whitetail shed antler. I am out a lot, but they are hard to find, and this one was in perfect shape. Often the mice chew on them, but not this one.
