Chris, you wrote: Metal spacers are standard but silver is definitely a chargeable option...(Just didn't want folks confused)... Yes, you are correct. In fact, specifying silver furniture -- meaning a fine silver hilt, sterling silver spacers, and a fine silver butt cap -- constitutes three chargeable options. But, given that the #25 is a rather fully-featured knife with its handle configuration, the other two chargeable options can be used for a stainless steel blade, wrist thong, or CW handle material for the #25 handle insert (though the Stag insert looks awesome).

I'll vote for the #25, either blade length.

My vote would be for a 25-6 too. Because I don't have one and have always wanted one. I like the configuration of the one Ken posted. We could always substitute white micarta, red micarta, black micarta or a nice piece of wood for the center.

Thank you, Doug, for clarifying that specifying Sterling Silver spacers on a #25 (or a knife with a #25 handle) is a non-chargeable option, except for the cost of sourcing the sterling silver.
Interesting, though, if you read the current catalog's description of the #25, it states that Nickel Silver is the standard hilt material, along with a Duralumin butt cap, but that Brass is available upon request, presumably referring to both the the hilt and butt cap. This would then suggest that there would be no charge for specifying Fine Silver for the hilt, other than the cost of sourcing the silver from you, but that a Fine Silver butt cap would be the only chargeable option, at $60.
This stuff is complicated.
