Guido,
Good to see you made back to Italy...and good talkin' to ya'. As we have both stated the old "Randall Drop point Hunter" is the closest to Bob's famous design. Actually: These "designs" have been around for a hundred years, but certainly his "Trademark" blade design. If you look closely at today's offerings from the Randall shop it becomes evident that the #26'4" is the closest in blade grind and overall shape.
By the way, Guido...a little somethin' is posting for you today!! Good to see you back on the forums. It's been too long. Thanks.
Best, Capt. Chris

Well...We'd dropped to "Page #3". Does that mean no one wishes to build a "Drop Point"? I just returned from a 2-day marathon trek to Savannah and Hilton Head. Did a little Randall knife business and spent too much money! How 'bout it? What think you?
Best, Capt. Chris

My vote would be for a model 26 with the 25 handle, but I think I could probably be swayed to go with the model 25 crowd grin

Hey Tony,

Me too! Slab side stag would be great, as I don't have a slab side stag Randall yet.

Slab side stag with Nickel Silver hardware. That'd be a beauty for sure.
