With...or "without" Tony's suggestions, I had no intention of only letting one member have all of the fun. Thanks for bringing it up Tony. Glad we're clear on that one. Here's something to think about, crew. It's real easy and, in fact, simple to come up with a matching pair. #25's are far more limited in handle choices. I challenge you folks to come up with 2 seperate builds, seeing as how they are not going to the same member anyway!!!
Think about it,
Best,Capt. Chris

Cool!
When I saw "matched pair" I just thought it meant they would go together.

Along with the #26 ... what about a #11-4" or 5" because it's "The Original Drop-Point Blade" ?

I'll second the model 11!

heres what I would like to see:

-26-4
-01
-shortened fine silver hilt
-all red spacers
-slab side BPH or TearDrop in Argentine LV (very green in color, more appropriate than micarta)

I could also go with slab side stag (otherwise the same) but in that case it should include an oval shaped Ivory inlay to be laser etched post production with the Loveless nude (backview) from his trademark.

And,

-11-3.5 (better profile than the 11-4)
thumbnotches
-01
-shortened fine silver hilt
-all red spacers
-slab side straight or TearDrop in Argentine LV (very green, more appropriate than plastic (micarta))
-fine silver escutcheon plate, also laser etched with the backview of the Loveless nude--
lanyard tube

the problem with the 25 is that no matter what you can imagine it has already been done-

I guess it wasn't clear enough, so let me try again...The choices for the pair to be built are the 2 that received all or almost all of the votes:

A) Model #25-5"
B) Model #26-4"
(Not necessarily in that order)
Best, Capt. Chris

Hey Captain,

How about having the handles like the 25 handle style with lignum vitae inserts?
