Cap't.

I too on a previous vote in early October thought that the slab side was an option for the 26. I'm good with LV full handle on the 26 & an insert on the 25. Classic handle material.

Regards,

Tom Flynn

I found my old post where I did mention slab sides in a "PS". I have a call in trying to get a verification, but I thought that I was told "recently" slabs are only available on a select few models, i.e. "Cattleman", "Stanaback Specials", etc. I'll find out. I have to go to the shop tomorrow...to be continued...with or without any more brain farts by me!
Best, Capt. Chris

Thanks for this build, Capt. I, too, like the L/V handles---full, slab or any way you slice it, it's beautiful wood.

OK...How about a "ROLL CALL" vote. First of all: I just confirmed that the only "flat" (or slab) sided models available from the Randall shop is "The Cattleman" or "Stanaback Specials" in either blade length. "SO"...That option is not doable on a Model #26. So...How about this: We are going to build a #25-5" and a #26-4" in tribute to a drop point knife maker, none other than Bob Loveless. How about we decide on the following:

A) #25-5", N-25
B) #25-5", B-25

We can have nickel silver and aluminum hardware (N-25) or brass (B-25) depending on what you vote for. Let's here from ya!!!

Second vote:

A) #26-4", N-25
B) #26-4", B-25
C) #26-4", full handle

Vote for your one and only preferred choice for each model. We'll get into the other options shortly, but let's start with this. At least, unlike other votes today, we actually have some "choices" here...and aren't devastated if another choice gets the nod over our #1 choice.
...couple of days...Thanks for your interest.
Best, Capt. Chris
