Last few. Jason was kind enough to let me hold a Fireman Special that had the Border Patrol handle. That is one tough knife!

Chad,

Welcome to the RKS Forum.

Your photos of the Randall Museum turned out very well, that is a tough photographic environment with all the glass and your photos are some of the best I have seen.

Randall Made Knives are an inspiration and a tribute to hard work, quality, craftsmanship, artistry and an American way of life.

Thanks for taking the time to post your photos.

Thanks for the welcome and glad you enjoyed the pictures, Tom.

Danbrew, I heard about the new museum that is in the works, and wanted to experience the original before everything is moved. I didn't have time to go through all of the magazine and newspaper articles in the poster hangers, that will be the next trip. I could easily have spent several more hours there. The museum is small at first glance, but there is a ton of history in there, I highly recommend a visit.

Capt. Chris, funny you should use the "hook, line, and sinker" description. Those were the exact words of my wife as I sent the deposit for the lignumvitae knives!

Great photography! A wonderful photographic tour you've shared with us. It brings back memories of the few times I've been to the shop. The last time, I believe, was July 3rd, 2006.

Came down to Punta Gorda, FL to pick up a sailboat, and I stopped in to pick up an order for SF customers at Fort Bragg. Wanted to do what you did, but I had to make to Port Charlotte by nightfall.

I'm grateful for your fine efforts to record a historical reference for the rest of us. I expect this thread will get a lot of "mileage". As someone said, "Thanks for the Memories".

Fantastic photographs thanks for posting them up.I have been to the museum every summer since 02 and never tire of "browsing the isles",on every visit I spot something I've not noticed before and your photos reminded me just how much there is still to see.The new museum is coming along very well but the job of transferring all the exhibits across will be a long and detailed task. However when it is eventually completed it will be a whole new world to discover and I cannot wait. smile

Hi Chad
Welcome and many thanks for posting the pictures. They are great and much appreciated by a guy who has never been to Florida.
