The Special Fighter program is important to me, simply because of what it is, and what it does. It doesn't matter who the soldier is, as long as we support him. (or her).

A fine soldier and friend of mine, whom I served in the same unit with in Iraq 5-6 years ago, was wounded in the head this past Sunday in Afghanistan. Here's an opportunity for us all to support a soldier, with your prayers. Everyone, please pray for Sgt J. Parker and his family. He will survive, but they can still use your prayers. Thanks to all... for supporting the United States' fighting man, however you do it!

PS... in case anyone has a copy of Bruce Canfields newest book on US combat shotguns (the new hardcover edition) there's a picture of Sgt Parker on pg 211.
