Peter,
Beautiful shots, as always!
Nice to see the guys in that lush green Pennsylvania country side.

The boys and I got our early yesterday because it it getting pretty hot. The mountain laurel is getting past its prime, but the Rhododendron is just starting to bloom. The ferns are pretty thick as are the blueberries.

I never tire of these trips I can take with everyone who posts up. Thanks Peter, Tony, Mike and the like. It's refreshing to see this when the heat index is well over 100 for weeks now!
Best, Capt. Chris

Greetings
We got out extra early this morning because it is really hot and the boys don't care for the heat so much as they get older.
I saw a nice fungus, blue berries, wild flowers, and although the mountain laurel blooms are gone the Rhododendron is looking nice. A few artsy photos thrown in too

Peter

Thanks, once again Peter,
What's the altitude at this location?
Best, Capt. Chris

I am glad you enjoy the pictures

The altitude is generally between 1100-2500 ft above sea level, this hike was most likely between 1500 and 2000 ft above.
I am off today too, but it is way too hot for the dogs to be hiking today

Thanks Tony
We are hanging out indoors today, getting a lot of chores done.
I hope it cools down, but it doesn't look like it will this week
