We received about 12- 14 inches of snow Friday night and Saturday morning.
After a morning temperature of 1, it warmed up to the mid 20's Sunday afternoon so some x country skiing was in order in the state game lands near my house. It was very nice to get out in the woods.

I went out skiing again yesterday, snow was pretty good, we broke a lot of trail again. This is what it looked like skiing and this is what the boys looked like after breaking trail and eating dinner.

Hi
We were out Saturday morning hiking around Shingletown, it was cold to start, but sunny, it is hard to see, but my #28 is on my right pack shoulder strap.

Another great weather day this past Saturday, so we went hiking in the Quehanna Wild Area.
http://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/FORESTRY/oldgrowth/quehanna.aspx
Things were not overly scenic, but we saw a small green snake, a tree growing up out of a stump, the boys got to go in a couple of the streams and I saw some elk poop. (I hope I can say elk poop here and not have to go to the bad lounge) We did about 10 miles.

Peter,
I think you would only have to go to the "bad" lounge if it was "bad" elk poop! Nice photos. Did you get your "Capt. Chris' Care Package" yet?
Best, Capt. Chris

Thanks for the comments about the pictures, I had trouble getting them small enough to upload.
I haven't received my package yet or I would have posted pictures. I am hoping for a surprise when I get home from work.

Yep, some great shots there Peter. Here in Utah we're having a Duzzy of a winter storm. 2-3 feet in the mountains and 3-6 in the valley, yes, that's snow I'm talking about. Springtime in the Rockies.
