This is a picture of my Terzuola ATCF Folder, it features carbon fiber scales, titanium bolsters and a CPM S30V blade.

... and another one with desert ironwood scales, bolsters are made of damast steel "stars & stripes" pattern. This one is a little heavier than the carbon fiber version shown above.

Hallo Peter

Great ones! For me the ATCF of Mr. Terzuola is one of the finest, cleanest and most classic "tactical-patterns" existing. I have a "nude" titanium linerlock ATCF (without bolsters and scales) and a microtech d/a ATCF handground with dagger logo. For some technical reasons I'm not able to post any pics yet.

thanks for sharing yours!

Grüsse aus der Schweiz

Hello Patrick,

I absolutely agree with you. I also got a titanium handle ATCF, I bought it a couple of years ago: the logo on the blade is a bit larger than those currently etched, blade steel is BG42 and the upper grind on the blade is more pronounced.

...and one more picture: these two are more on the presentation grade side: both with titanium bolsters, grip scales are desert ironwood and red jigged bone.

Hi Peter

Great pictures of two beautiful knives - thany you for showing them.
Ultraclean workmanship by Mr. Terzuola; just stunning, how he attaches the ti-bolsters: there is no screw visible.
For me it's also very interesting to see your older "nude" ATCF and to compare it with the current model.
By the way: the ATCF is also a valuable using knife. A friend of mine recently used his "nude" ATCF for food preparation and every other kitchen chores during a whole weekend - just for fun. He reported that there was no problem with any cutting job - although the blade with it's sort of sabre grind is not really designed to cut tomatoes or meat.

What do you think about Kevin Wilkins' Knives?

kind regards, Patrick

Patrick, Kevin Wilkins is actually one of my favourite makers of Custom Folders. I particularly like his model “Ghost Dog Pup”, a down-sized version of the large Ghost Dog Folder. Below is a picture of my g.d.p which I reveived from Kevin about a year ago:
Specs: blade 3.5” of CPM S90V, snakewood grip scales, bolsters are made of Swedish damasteel “small rose” pattern, liner edges are anodized blue – his attention to every detail is amazing.
If I remember correctly Kevin was exhibiting at one of the major Swiss knife shows last year (was it in Bern or Zurich ?)

Great to hear that you like Wilkins as well - I have two Folders of him. Last September he stayed - as every year - at the Swiss Knife Show in Bern. Since he's using a CNC-machine he makes even more special knives: At the show I bought a large wharncliffe (S90V) with contoured brass bolster and "Mooreiche"-slab. Just terrific.
>>still no pictures, I'm afraid<<
cheerz, Patrick

Patrick, I think I remember this knife of yours ! Was it pictured in an issue of "Messermagazin" last year ? Brass bolsters with machined "channels" or stripes ? If that´s the one, then congratulations on this buy !

My second ghost dog pub folder has desert ironwood scales and powder blasted titanium bolsters; by the way I asked Kevin whether he can offer carbon fiber as a grip option but he is currently not yet set up for machining this material, c.f. can be quite nasty- the dust is very poisoneous.

Peter - it's exactly the wharncliffe you're talking about!
I like those ghost dog pups of yours very much. sooner or later Kevin will make them with cf as well, don't you think?!
My second Wilkins is a F7 with "zebrawood" on one side/framelock and M2 hispeed-steel. I borrowed the pic of it from Kevins homepage - he will forgive me
