We have added another warrior to our project! Thanks Wally!!

The original warrior will be returning soon, so again I am asking for a name of someone important to you in a war zone that we can spread some RKS love to!

Rob,

P.M. me for my mailing address. You can send a message to a warrior and I will include it in a package. Seal it in a separate envelope and no one will see it but the warrior.

To our RKS Member Tom for all ya give!

A Patriotic Wish
Edgar Guest

I'd like to be the sort of man
the flag could boast about;
I'd like to be the sort of man
it cannot live without;
I'd like to be the type of man
That really is American:
The head-erect and shoulders-square,
Clean-minded fellow, just and fair,
That all men picture when they see
The glorious banner of the free.

I'd like to be the sort of man
the flag now typifies,
The kind of man we really want
the flag to symbolize;
The loyal brother to a trust,
The big, unselfish soul and just,
The friend of every man oppressed,
The strong support of all that's best,
The sturdy chap the banner's meant,
Where'er it flies, to represent.

I'd like to be the sort of man
the flag's supposed to mean,
The man that all in fancy see
wherever it is seen,
The chap that's ready for a fight
Whenever there's a wrong to right,
The friend in every time of need,
The doer of the daring deed,
The clean and generous handed man
That is a real American.

Hey Tom! You The MAN, THANKS!

See Ya, Chief

I received this today. It is edited somewhat.

Hey Tom,

Sorry its been so long since I emailed,but I have been away from the Alamo for awhile,I am also having to use this address because the system is down for updates. Thank you so much for the boxes of goodies,its really nice of you and your group,and I mean that.Here things are a little crazy but Lord willing I will survive and get to see my family again,I think I have about six months left on this tour and I am going to retire.

I ordered me a new Randall Knife in 2004 when I was in Iraq and I get it 2009 and I am excited about that. Well sir I am going and again I say thank you.[tnt]Sgt.

I don't know if the sergeant's knife that is on order is one that is eligible for the special expedited program at the shop but it would be nice if he got it before he comes home.
I ask the sergeant which model Randall Made Knife he ordered. If it is eligible I will pass it on to Dirty Water to see if it can be done. Although he is not in Iraq he is definately in the war zone.

The Sargeant is at the "Alamo", near Kabul in Afghanistan. The knife he is talking about that he ordered in Iraq is actually one of two I ordered when I was there with him, so they are actually in my name, although one of them is for him. They were ordered identical, and are far from standard or "off the shelf" models. He is now carrying the model one that I carried in Iraq. Several times in Iraq he was with me when out of the blue someone would come up and say "Hey man, is that a Randall?" After that happened several times he said he had to have one, so we ordered them then. Yes, the Alamo is definitely a "War Zone". If I can get this picture to load, you'll see the old Sarge. The picture was taken at Baghdad Airport in 2004 [ [image][/image]

Great pic of a good old Southern Warrior.

If it wasn't for South Carolina, we'd have probably lost the Revolutionary War.

Thanks Wally.

As long as he has a Randall Made Knife with him now that's OK.
I was thinking the Sarge was over there with a lesser blade.

Thanks for clearing that up.

Just for kicks, here's another shot of the Randall Warrior, seated on Saddam Hussiens' throne at the Al Faw palace at Camp Victory, Baghdad. Me and the old sarge have been friends for about 22 years. I always thought this was a good picture of him. I'll try to refrain from straying off the topic of RMKs from now on. [image][/image]
