If you can order a #8 with that handle, I'll be placing another order with the Captain chop chop.

Tony, its new to me. I don't know how long it's been since RMK stopped offering that handle but I'm guessing its at least 5 years old. I've only ever held one other one and its in my father in laws collection and its actually shaped/made from wood.

It is no longer available. This knife was one of those "leftover treasures" at the shop sale. Ward Gay handles have been off limits for about 10 years now.
Sorry, Capt. Chris

That Model 8 came out of the "last" stock sale?

A few stock sales ago I still remember a friend and fellow Randall nut asking Jason about a model 2-4 with a yellow handle and Jason informed him that it was the first knife RMK ever used for Antique Gold Micarta and that it had been sitting in a drawer in the shop for years and they just decided to put it out for the sale. Moral of the story...You just never know how old a knife at the sale is or the story behind it.
