We recently stared working on custom straight edge razors and couldn't be more excited about what we're coming up with. They're razor sharp and holding a strong edge that took some good time to perfect. We'll have some footage next of a local barber hacking us up, so remember to check back after a few days.

Cool looking Razors. I have never shaved with one or had a shave with one. Sort of makes me nervous. I have a collection of old straight razors, maybe I need to add one of these. If I didn't have a beard I might even give it a try. Anyway these look pretty darn interesting.

Ah man... The straight edge shave is a right of passage. Not many shops do it any longer. When I lived in New Orleans I'd get one once a month on a Friday afternoon to start the weekend. Hot towel, haircut, and a shave..... awesome! definitely a "CLOSE" shave!!!

We couldn't agree more. It took us a few phone calls around town to find someone who still uses them professionally and we'll be filming him trying them on us. We can't wait to see them at work, and we're hoping our ladies will appreciate our clean shaven faces too cool

I have an old straight razor I inherited from my grandfather, but I haven't had the guts to try and use it.

I remember getting haircuts back in the 60s where the barber would use the hot foam and shave the back of my neck with a straight razor. I remember the stropping ritual also!!
Very nice looking work, Jim.

Pat, my barber still shaves my neck with hot lather and a straight razor.... and she's a 35 year old woman! It's an old school barber shop in the Tutwiler Hotel in Birmingham. I always book for 4:00 on a Friday and take a Maker's on the rocks for each of us. Seems to steady her hand..... eek

Well Tune, her sister and mother and other family members must also work here in B'burg at the "New Barber Shop"(anything but)where I receive the same relaxing back of the neck treatment....been taking my son there since he was 5 and decided he wasn't going with mom to " those girlie places" anymore. The annual fall ritual here is the Freshman class VA Tech Corp of Cadets all march downtown, pick up their uniform at the cleaners, one block further to the 4 waiting barber chairs and all stand at attention stretching up the sidewalk waiting for their new trim; doesn't take long. AAAAAhhhhhhhh......does the heart good!
