Lenny,
Welcome back and thanks for hookin' back up with us again. The RKCA "TROOPS TREASURY" has aided in starting a scholarship fund in memorium for a fallen soldier and made 2 Randall knives, one for a returning soldier, wounded in action, and one for a soldier returning to Afghanistan for his "4th" tour! I'm glad Mitchell thought about the club and thankful that you would contribute to it. Let me know what you need from me...whenever you're ready.
Thanks...and again: Welcome back,
Capt. Chris Stanaback

There is Dan Mink in Crystal Beach. He makes different styles but centers his work on filet knives. There was a write up in one of the knife magazines a year or so ago about him. Michael Tison out of Lakeland makes slip joints, and although he not in that general area, there is Jim Elliott out of Okeechobee. Florida Knifemakers Guild lists quite a few makers in the Florida area, I have just listed those of whom I own their knives and am comfortable suggesting them. Jim Elliott's knives I own several, and have been to his shop. He does GREAT work and he also is a hell of a nice guy. He will do different styles, I don't believe he specializes in any one thing, but I might be wrong on that count.
