The Ruger LCP is .380 (9mm Kurz, 9x17). I would go for the S&W M&P Shield 9mm first, but they are extremely hard to get now. The Kimber is twice the price of the Ruger,Both are hard to get at this time. As Rob said so is the S&W Shield..Good luck in your search...
