Hey All,

I just spoke to Guido.
He is in good spirits.
He has decided not to go with the surgery. The hip / pelvis will be allowed to heal naturally.
But this means a long recovery. About 4 months. He will be home sometime next week.
He will then be able to get on the internet, as now it's not possible in the hospital.
He sends his regards and thanks everyone for their well-wishes and concern.
Tony

Good news Tony!

You know he has an Angel sitting on his shoulder "Rhett!".

No worries, he is in good hands!

Let Guido know if he needs anyone to take care of his knife collection while he is recovering, there should be plenty of volunteers smile

Best to you as you heal Guido. Patience can be a gift slow healing can teach; that and the skilled, big bruiser physical therapist who I chewed through towels for daily for 4 months are what allows me to keep moving through the mountains today. Good luck on your road back, my friend.

Hi Guys !
Thanks....thanks...thanks to All of you!
Chuck...you feel me cry because your post...I hug on you.
I know I am a lucky guy and I thanks God everyday because of that.
My recovery will be "natural" but...I know...I know...just got 6 long screws on my body just 2 day ago: 2 in each hip....and 2 on my R leg.
Those screws aren't to repair my fracture...but..to immobilize my body only.
I don't know the esact name of this " external fixing" technique but I will find.
Because all guys here are very interested in technology.....and after RT & Capt' permission...I will post some pics of this device they fixed over my.....belly!
GUIDO
Don't ask for "hot" pics...please.
I HUGS ALL OF YOU GUYS...YOU ARE THE BEST FRATERNITY IN (ON) THE FIELD

Gumba,
Great to hear your voice this morning and thanks for the phone call! Glad to hear you will be home this weekend. I think we "all" heal better at home, "BUT"...(There's that word again)...you'll have to do what your wife tells you to do.
Get well buddy and get over here to see us soon.
All the best, Capt. Chris
