How do we know if we are charter members? I haven't filled out an application. Maybe I won't qualify.....too old, not enough hair, not many real teeth left, have reflux, one bad knee, hemi's, member of the "dicky-do" club. Can I still get in?

Pap

Well I've now had the chance to read the newsletter from cover to cover and sincerely enjoyed every page.It is without a doubt a worthy successor to the RKS version,in terms of quality of paper, print type and use of colour (especially for photographs) it is a huge leap forward. The bar has been set very high with issue #1 and I'm sure the standard will be maintained.
Hats off to the contributing editors, what a fantastic team going forward, all the articles where a pleasure to read.I really look forward to hearing what Joe and Mitchell have to tell us in future issues,Jims piece and photography was terrific and having Scott "on the inside" is great news for those titbits we all find so fascinating.Perry sharing one of those authentification gems was fascinating and I really liked Capt Chris's introduction piece, never thought I'd be quoted Tennyson by the Capt smile
I was thinking to myself is it a bit presumptuous to make suggestions about what I would like to see in future issues, probably but here goes anyway -
A "first look" when the new museum opens would be very interesting
Also Randall Made oddities and one offs from within the museum collection would make great reading.
Other makers from within the collection (Loveless,Scagel etc)
Shop perssonel bios past and present
I remember "Randall Lore" from the forums, something like that as a regular article would make good reading..
Over here in the UK the forums and the newsletter from the RKS where a true lifeline, the continuation of the forum and now an exceptional hard copy newsletter from the new RKCC have continued and dare I say improved Rhetts wonderful legacy,a sincere thanks to everyone involved,a brilliant first issue.
