Something else to consider. The hone pocket comes in very handy for lashing the knife to your equipment/IBA, etc. Some folks like to carry stuff other than a hone there, as well.

it should probably include the hone pocket.

Absolutely agree with defering to Wally--shoulda thought of the "multi-use pocket", as I've utilized them in the same way many times-bet you and others have too, Tony.

We need to bust our humps and complete this build if I am to get this young man's knife completed on my Ocotber order...and I "am" going to get it on this order. We have the following:

* Butt cap, always required with leather (material to be
determined)
