Today's launch from Florida went well.
God speed!
As I watched the coverage, I remembered Perry Miller's description of watching the launches through his picture windows at his home.
It is a good note during these times.

It is a good note David. We watched as well.

Raise a drink to our old friend Perry!

No doubt! As you can imagine, the coverage down here has been 24/7 but it's a significant bird...for sure. When they scrubbed on Wednesday, Elan Musk was spotted at a "5 Guys" grabbing a burger 2 hours later!
Also: Semper Fi my old friend.
All the best, Capt. Chris

I wonder if those Astronauts have a Randall Model 17 Astro with them?

Wayne--

Naw. They might have, or maybe soon will have, knives that generate a force field or plasma jet that will cut anything.

At least...that's what the scifi novels I read in high school described.

Maybe that's the next step in technology to come from RMK?

Larry,
I will stick with the Model 17 Astro.

Those new fangled gadgets just confuse the heck out of me.

Don't forget, our family's first phone was on the wall and you had to crank it to get the operator.

If memory serves me right, our number was three long rings and a short.

By the way, this smokeless powder stuff is just a passing fad.
