This is our pet squirrel, "Scooter".

He seems to be trying to decide which tool will best help crack his pecan.

I know I would be with that choice. Great knives! Scooter, too.

OK... here's the squirrel story... In 1994, only a couple of months after Lori and I were married, I came home one day to find a nest on the ground at the edge of the woods at the backyard. As I kicked the nest from our yard back to the woods edge, an embryonic looking hairless creature rolled out. My wife is a natural "Elle May" and our first " pet" squirrel lived eight years. ( they live 2-3 in the wild) Over the years as folks have found out about our love of wildlife, and Loris' seemingly natural talent, more came our way. I can't count or remember how many squirrels we've had, but we have managed to return a few to the wild. With the help of the local Audubon society and a couple of local vets and animal rescue organizations, we've rescued dozens of squirrels, some baby birds, a kestrel, which is a raptor, similar or kin to a falcon, a broad shouldered hawk, possums, racoons, various snakes, and only two weeks ago, a knee- high fawn, that was struck by a car. As far as " housebreaking" goes, some are better than others. In the best cases, they're very nearly domesticated, but still they can only be handled by us. Now for the Randall content... about the same time we found our first squirrel, my wife and I were at a local gun and knife show when I extolled the beauty and craftsmanship of a model one on Ron Stepps table. Before we left that day my newly acquired wife had coaxed me into buying it. Whatta sweetheart. Today, as I write this, we have a similar number of squirrels, as we have RMKs. Kinda funny, huh?

Ciao Edo come stai ?

O c'è qualcosa che non so ? Sii chiaro

Ciao Edo the situations seems clear to me. The forum is open: many Randall lovers, excellent discussions, beautiful pictures of terrific Randall knives....is a pity that you suspend the contest right now that I was starting to make decent pictures even though I still can not upload...!

Or is there something that I don't know ? Be clear.

Stefano
