This just in from the Randall shop in regard to Randall shop verification or authentication, of your Randall knife.

"If a customer wishes information regarding a Randall knife we will be glad to look at it if the owner brings it to our shop in Orlando. Please do not ship any knife to this company for verification. Normally, we can advise approximate collectors value, age, and if any alterations that might have occurred outside the RMK shop. Also, we can supply replacement sheaths for the old blades(s) if needed while in visiting the factory and museum."

Best regards,

Rhett Stidham

I just got one of these fine randall blades when my grandfather passed away it is a stag handle with RKS# 1158 etched into the blade near the handle can anyone tell me a little more about this fantastic tool it is a work of art although not ornamental i belive it is the same knife featured in the jan 2004 issue of American rifleman magazine in the riflemans edge section
we always liked randall knives because of the quality and because they also share our name

Joshua,
If you could provide a photo or 2 of the knife (both sides) and the sheath (both sides) you'll probably get some opinions.
Best, Capt. Chris
