I just posted a shadow trapper by Reese in the photo forum. I find the canvas micarta to be a dull color and was wondering if Reese would normally be willing to rescale a knife? .... I think jigged bone would look great on this knife.

I would normally just call but I don't want to offend Reese. I'm likely just being overcautious and if this is the case please let me know.

Thanks, Matt

I asked someone else the same question recently and was told it's almost easier for Reese to make a new knife. But I didn't ask Reese.

The micarta is not without it's charms. When it drops or goes through the washer, you'll be glad your "friend" is up to the task.

I asked that same question not long ago and the response was the same as above: It's almost like making a new knife.
