[Been a forum member for a few years - I just have too much going on for me to do much more than check in and "lurk" every now and then to keep up...] I'd read that the blades on some of later 27's were somewhat narrower; however, this one is my 5th 27, and the blade depth/contour is as nice as my other best, and better than a couple of my older knives. Simply confirms these are hand-made knives, and each will be unique in its own way - one of the many things I like about Randalls for sure!
