So I know these aren’t the best pics but it’s the first time I’ve been able to be out in the woods in a long time so my phone was the only thing I had. It’s also the last durn time I won’t also have my 35mm for pictures. Felt like Goldie Locks as there were 3 bears but I only got a picture of mama. Her little one was about the size of a big bobcat; and then there was “Bubba”, biggest boy by far that I’ve ever seen in the wild.
Ain’t it grand to see these wall hangers all so chummy? Full velvet is beautiful. They’re on the edge of the woods just off an alfalfa field, 2 seconds before wind shifted on me.
Sooooo, moderators can put these anywhere else they’d like AND any helpful adjustment to my pics is welcome. I’m just feeling grateful for today’s stroll.

Awesome pics, Duke. Those velvet pics are great!

We don’t have bears——yet,,, so I bet they are a treat to see.

Thanks for taking time to post.

Dike,
Gosh,those are fantastic!!!

Archery for deer season opens beginning of next month and goes all the way until end of January.

Present a doe at the weigh station you get another tag until you come in with a buck.

Some of my friends harvest 10+ doe a season to fill their freezers.

Duke,

Great day when you get out with nature at its best. Love seeing deer in velvet.

Great pictures Duke. Looks promising for the chances of venison in freezer this winter.
